Join the 20-piece Compaq Big Band this Friday night February 26th when we return to the Brown University campus in Providence, Rhode Island for our fifth consecutive year at the “Zoot Suit Ball”.  ADMISSION IS FREE!  This is public dance sponsored by Brown's Swing Club and the Ballroom Club, and is funded by a university grant.  The venue is the fabulous Alumnae Hall, and the public is enthusiastically invited.  There’s a group-friendly swing and ballroom lesson 8:00pm-8:20pm, and the band plays 8:20pm to Midnight.   Alumnae Hall is a great dance venue - located at 194 Meeting Street in Providence.   We'll be doing swing for our sets and there will be a mix of DJ’d ballroom music on our breaks.
