The Beantown Swing Orchestra was formed to play exclusively for dancers, using the classic arrangements of the 1930s and 1940s. Its 14 horns, 3 harmonized vocalists, and complete rhythm section demonstrate the amazing power of music during swing's heyday. With members coming from Italy, Greece, Argentina, and Japan as well as the USA, this 20-piece band presents a unique cross-cultural interpretation of a truly American art form.
