Please join us for a fun night of dancing with an energetic 30's and 40's era swing band that will keep you dancing swing and lindy hop all night long. A free introductory swing lesson is offered at 8pm and the dance starts at 9pm.

Just a reminder, please bring friends to Swing City! It's not only great fun for all to meet new people, but vital to Swing City and the whole Boston/New England swing dance scene. The "word of mouth" approach from our regular and occasional dancers is by far the most effective way to get the word out.

Dance lessons at Swing City

New to Swing Dancing or already an expert? No worries, we've got something for everyone!

Join us for a beginner swing lesson before the dance. Class begins at 8pm, so be sure to arrive a few minutes early. More experienced dancers aree welcome to join in and help out. It's also a great way to meet people.

Already got the basic steps down?. We support Free Dance Studio which offers free swing lessons on Saturdays from 6:30-8pm at Swing City before the dance. They offer a Lindy Bootcamp, Charleston, and other workshops.

8:00pm-9:00pm: "Intro to Swing Dance" Lesson
FREE with cover charge

Swing lesson (intro, east coast swing)
-learn basic 6-count patterns to get you started

9:00pm: Band goes on (DJ in the breaks)
until 12:00 midnight

So please join us for lessons, a night of rich live music, dancing, lots of cool fun people of all ages, and some great exercise. Bottom line, a great night out for less than $20 ($4 off with valid, current, college ID), and a super vibe. Read, "Boston's official Cheap Date!"
