Workshops

Note: we have three rooms (Room 1, Room 2, and the Annex), with two workshops scheduled in each. Room 1 and 2 are the main ballroom, and "The Annex" is an adjacent room we have set up.

Workshops are intermediate level except beginner level where noted.

7-8pm

Session 1
Room 1:
East Coast/Lindy: "So fresh and So clean: add pop and clarity with effective lead and follow stylings." Liz Miller and Seth Burgess

Room 2: East Coast/Lindy: "Intermediate Swing with Swing out Variations." Megan Damon & Reuben Pharms

The Annex: Beginner West Coast Swing with Paolo Piselli

Session 2
Room 1:
East Coast/Lindy: "The Deep End: complicated leads and follows that will give your dancing brain-freeze." Liz Miller and Seth Burgess.

Room 2: East Coast/Lindy: Free Beginner lesson*
*with general admission, no partner needed

The Annex: West Coast Swing: "Fans& Single Rhythms for Style." Jennifer Lyons (goes later, until 9:15+)

The 7500sf Presidential Ballroom will be set up with dance floors, in addition to our side room, "The Annex". Plus great lighting, plenty of AC, complementary hors d'oeuvres, and a full cash bar.

$25 at the door

Annex only admission*
$15, pay at the door
* this includes admission to the West Coast dance in the Annex only. If you plan to participate in all the entire event, purchase a general admission ticket.

$5 off your ticket purchases with current, valid student ID
(must be presented at the door)

Workshops:
Add $8 for one session, $10 for both if purchased in advance ($15 at the door)
8pm Beginner lesson is FREE.
