"Thumbs up!" for the Somerville City Club directions»

Great floor, easy access, ice cold AC, full bar... The word at our opening last week which was attended by about 100 people, was "it's a great place!" As you might imagine, we're super psyched to have a place finally where we can stay for a while. In fact, we're opening a Salsa night there on Thursdays as well.

We're of course working on renovating a few more things and tweeking it out, which will be an ongoing effort for the next month or so, but it's looking great already.

Please join us each and every Friday!

Also... Save the Date!
Friday, October 24, "Swingin' at the Hyatt" is back!
Workshops, a great band (TBA, working on finalizing), and of course the great dance party.

Friday, Sept. 19: The O-Tones
Very popular band from central Mass, debuting at Swing City.

Plus Alex and Megan teaching and DJ'ing
Beginner's East Coast lesson at 7:30

"The Annex" downstairs:
West Coast
Workshop at 7:30

The new place is the Somerville City Club, at 20 Innerbelt Road, Somerville (map). It's adjacent to the Holiday Inn near Sullivan Square, directly off I-93 and 3 blocks from the Orange Line. There are also a ton of buses that come through, ample parking, an "Annex", and of course... a FULL BAR. For those that drove to the Greek Church from I-93, you probably went right past it on Washington St. In fact it's only a little over a mile away and about three miles down the highway from Springstep.
